Things have been extra crazy this month with new Sistine Chapel shows, Banksy, Louvre Fantastique, and now the premiere of a show I co-produced – Princess Diana: A Tribute Exhibition.
I went this week during the last stages of set up to test out the selfie ops and see the Mise-en-scène at the famous Crystals Shops Las Vegas. What is great about curating an exhibit such as this one, is that there is so much content that the true mastery is in the display. The interior design allowed for so many Diana artifacts to shine in their own private space. This was fundamental as we had to design layouts for over 700 artifacts displayed over a massive 10,000 square feet!
Evening gowns, artistic installations, historic royal textiles, and loads of personal items like correspondences, appointment bookings (you should see how often she had her iconic layered shag flipped out!) all have their own special set.
The exhibit journey starts earlier than her famed Royal life. It begins at Diana’s aristocratic family estate and takes our visitors on a journey through her whirlwind introduction to and ultimate reinvention of royal life…
The exhibition contains twelve curated rooms anchored by three standout collections: “Wedding of the Century,” “Fashion Icon” and “Royal Obsession.”
I invite you to check it out and secure your TICKET!
