Biography
Martin Biallas, CEO of SEE®, has reshaped the themed entertainment landscape with over 30 years of innovative leadership. SEE Global Entertainment Inc (SEE®) brings to life groundbreaking exhibits such as Frida Kahlo, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, Banksy, Star Trek, King Tut, and Smurfs. Collaborating with top Hollywood studios and sports franchises, the company offers immersive physical and virtual experiences. Biallas’s visionary approach has fundamentally transformed audience engagement with these iconic cultural attractions.
Originally from Hannover, Germany, Martin moved to the United States to study at the University of Michigan where he quickly formed an international entertainment company specializing in securing top American talent for international tours.
Catching the attention of notable German film actress and singer Hildegard Knef, Martin was asked to represent her. This opened the door for him to expand his focus to include talent from outside the United States. He subsequently co-founded Bi-Continental Management and went on to manage and promote such talents as: Tina Turner, Liza Minnelli, Joe Cocker, Duran Duran, Barry White, Eartha Kitt, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Shirley Bassey, the Pointer Sisters, the Beijing Opera, the Bolshoi Ballet and Nena. During his work for these personalities, he managed to garner many awards for his clients including Gold, Silver and Platinum Albums and a Grammy award for Joe Cocker’s “Up Where We Belong”.
Martin’s creative spirit moved him to start envisioning a new form of entertainment; a way to bring Hollywood’s best and brightest film and television franchises to consumers in the form of highly immersive ‘themed’ travelling tours. As a result, Martin launched SEE® in 1997 and began working with Hollywood’s biggest studios and producers to create large global tours with mass appeal.
All of his multi-million dollar tours were major successes, drawing record numbers of attendees, and several garnered the industry’s top awards such as “Best Attraction” and “Outstanding Achievement” from the Themed Entertainment Association of Hollywood. Over the years his licenses for SEE® projects have included: Star Trek, Pokemon, Titanic, I love Lucy, X Files, James Bond, NASA, Boris Becker, Gladiator, Van Helsing, The Mummy, Waterworld, War of the Worlds, Terminator, Men in Black, Asterix & Obelix, and the NFL.
In August of 2008, Martin created a subsidiary company, SEE Virtual Worlds (SEE VW) in order to pierce the digital landscape. The company utilizes Hollywood’s biggest titles as a way to enhance the entertainment value and profitability of both mobile games and multi-player on-line games. In this vein, SEE VW has entered into landmark agreements for mobile games, including the Michael Jackson Estate, Universal Pictures, and Paramount Pictures.
More recently, Martin has expanded his highly popular immersive tour experiences to encompass the worlds of art and history in order to bring humanity’s shared cultural heritages to the greater public. These sophisticated and wonderfully put together exhibits have proven to be quite successful, drawing large crowds and media attention from major television networks, print, and the internet.
Martin is married to Greudyn Biallas-Pena, whom he met in Panama through a mutual friend. Greudyn is a dance and ballet teacher and a graphic design artist.
Martin Biallas currently resides in Hollywood, CA
